We are proud of the provenance of our ingredients and have for many years worked with local suppliers to source only the highest quality, fresh and ready-for-market produce. This is reflected in the seasonality of our menu, which changes daily to reflect the best of what is available that day. Yorkshire Blue (Cows) (V) (P)

Medium strength blue cheese, handcrafted by Shepherds Purse in the heart  of North Yorkshire and matured for 8 weeks.

 

Harrogate Blue (Cows) (V) (P)

Fairly strong this blue is aged for 10-12 weeks, made with

a red curd it gives a peppery after taste.

 

Ribblesdale Mature Goats (Goats) (V) (P)

A creamy goat’s cheese with a clean taste. A classic hard cheese with a creamy texture. Continental in style and very savoury.

 

Ribblesdale Smoked (Goats) (V) (P)

Naturally smoked using oak, this cheese is soft in texture

but packs a punch in flavour.

 

Dorset Red (Cows) (V) (P)

Cold smoked overnight, handmade and matured on the Dorset coast makes for a very distinct and mellow flavour.

 

Sykes Fell (Sheep) (V) (P)

A delicately smooth, creamy cheese hand crafted from

locally sourced fresh, pure sheep’s milk.

 

Waterloo (Cows) (UnP)

A mild, semi-soft Guernsey milk cheese with a gentle, buttery flavour. It’s Distinctive yellow colour is due to the natural carotene in the unpasteurised milk.

 

Keens Cheddar (Cows) (UnP)

One of the most famous English cheddars. Produced on Moorhayer Farm since 1899 this is as classic as a cheddar

can be.

 

Wookey Hole (Cows) (V) (P)

Matured in the caves for a minimum of 8 months, this crystallised cheddar

is packed with a truly unique flavour.
